IN THIS ISSUE:
YES you heard correctly, PTC/USER is planning for a LIVE event in Orlando in MARCH of 2022! The event will include tracks around various PTC product offerings (CAD, PLM, Retail, Manufacturing, AR, IoT, Arbortext, etc.), an Exhibit Hall, the fan favorite PTC UX Lab, as well as a new PTC supplied Training Day.
The Call for Abstracts will open soon. Selected speakers will be given complimentary registration to the event, so we encourage everyone to start thinking about what story you can share from your work experience this past year.
We look forward to seeing everyone again!
The Routed Systems Technical Committee is comprised of experienced users across a variety of industries that are all passionate about taking the PTC Tools to the next level, as well as working together as a team to help resolve immediate issues. The Routed Systems Technical Committee focuses on Creo Schematics, Creo Cabling, Creo Piping, and the logical transfer of data between these tools, and other downstream tools. Regular meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month where we have the opportunity to interact with PTC Product Management and their partners. We are always looking for new members, no matter your experience level, to bring in new opinions, ideas, and industry needs.
PTC/USER Technical Committees consist of customers like you who work together with PTC Product Managers talking about how the products work today and what can be done to make them even better. Joining a Technical Committee is a great way to have your voice heard and network with your peers in industry.
We welcome new members! Please apply for PTC/USER Sheetmetal Technical Committee or any other TC that may interest you via the PTC/USER portal.
Join the roundtable discussion any time between 11-12 CST on Tuesday, July 20th to talk about CAD/Windchill administration with other admins.

Create a Solid Foundation for Enterprise PLM
A house needs a solid foundation if you expect it to last. With strong building blocks in place, you can add onto that house when and if the need arises. The same is true for a "digital house". With the digital thread at its core, an enterprise PLM foundation provides the infrastructure needed to build your digital house. So how do you go about building it?
Laying a firm foundation involves unifying engineering tools, processes, and methodologies - resulting in a 'system of product intelligence'. Doing so allows manufacturers to support global cross-discipline collaboration, enable concurrent manufacturing in engineering and the factory, and achieve closed-loop quality.
In this fully loaded event held on June 8th and June 9th replay, you will:
- Hear first-hand how leading manufacturers established their PLM foundation.
- Learn how to get to value quickly delivering core PLM functionality.
- Gain insight into PTC's top PLM priorities in our roadmap session.
- Engage with speakers in live Q&A and an Ask the Experts forum.
